Some uses in root canal treatment (depending on the type of tip used). 🔹 How does it work? • The device generates high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations. • These vibrations are transmitted through a thin metal tip. • When the tip contacts the teeth, it breaks down the tartar. • Water is pumped during operation to cool the tip and wash away debris. 🔹 Components of the device in the picture: • Control unit (with a dial to set the power from 1 to 14). • Foot pedal to operate the device during work. • Handpiece onto which cleaning tips are attached. • Power cable and water tubes.
