Job Description: Cryptocurrency Analyst Job Objective To analyze digital asset markets and cryptocurrencies in order to provide accurate investment recommendations based on technical and fundamental analysis, while staying up to date with the latest trends and developments in the crypto space. Key Responsibilities • Market Analysis • Monitor the performance of major and emerging cryptocurrencies. • Conduct technical analysis to forecast price movements and identify trends. • Produce regular market reports on trends, volatility, and risks. • Fundamental Analysis • Evaluate the fundamentals of blockchain projects (team, whitepaper, roadmap, utility). • Assess the real value of digital assets using data and project insights. • Risk & Opportunity Assessment • Identify investment opportunities and market risks. • Provide buy/sell/hold recommendations. • Tools & Platforms • Use tools like TradingView, CoinMarketCap, Glassnode, and on-chain analytics platforms. • Track real-time data and market sentiment. • Reporting & Presentations • Prepare daily/weekly analytical reports and investment insights. • Present findings and strategies to stakeholders and clients. • Market Updates & Research • Stay updated on global news impacting the crypto market. • Track regulatory developments and technological innovations in Web3, DeFi, and blockchain. Qualifications & Requirements • Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Experience: • At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis or cryptocurrency market research. • Direct trading or investment experience in cryptocurrencies is a plus. • Technical Skills: • Proficient in technical and fundamental analysis methodologies. • Familiarity with major crypto platforms and blockchain concepts. • Skilled in Excel, Power BI, and trading platforms. • Soft Skills: • Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making. • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-changing environments. • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
