&rlm;> Job Description: &rlm;> We are seeking a highly skilled Container Inspector to oversee the inspection of containers at the entry gate of the container yard The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing container conditions, identifying damages, ensuring compliance with international shipping standards, and maintaining accurate inspection records. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with shipping lines, yard operators, and repair teams. &rlm;> Key Responsibilities: &rlm;> Conduct thorough visual and technical inspections of incoming and outgoing containers at the gate. &rlm;> Identify and classify damages, structural issues, and non-conformities according to IICL and ISO standards. &rlm;> Ensure compliance with shipping line requirements, safety regulations, and operational protocols. &rlm;> Accurately document inspection results using digital reporting systems. &rlm;> Communicate findings with relevant departments, including repair teams &rlm;> Verify container markings, seals, and documentation to prevent discrepancies. &rlm;> Assist in implementing quality control measures to enhance inspection efficiency. &rlm;> Adhere to strict safety and security protocols during the inspection process. &rlm;> Requirements: &rlm;> Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree &rlm;> Experience: 5-7 years of experience in container inspection, damage assessment, or a related field. &rlm;> Certifications: Preferably IICL Certification or equivalent. &rlm;> Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of container structures, damage types, and repair standards. &rlm;> Attention to Detail: Ability to identify even minor defects that may impact shipping line compliance. &rlm;> Communication Skills: Ability to interact with terminal operators, shipping lines, and repair teams effectively. &rlm;> Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. &rlm;> Tech Proficiency: Experience with digital inspection systems and reporting tools. &rlm;> Physical Fitness: Capability to perform on-site inspections in a fast-paced terminal environment. &rlm;Email: slc-hr@agecon.info Please contact us by email
