Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Laundry Technician with strong hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing commercial laundry equipment, specifically Alliance Laundry Systems, Dry Cleaning machines, and Rotondi finishing equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of all laundry machinery to minimize downtime and maintain high productivity standards. ⸻ Key Responsibilities • Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on: • Alliance brands washer extractors & dryers • Dry clean machines (e.g., Firbimatic, Union, etc.) • Rotondi finishing and ironing equipment • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic system faults. • Conduct periodic inspections and maintain maintenance logs and reports. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational SOPs. • Support installation, calibration, and testing of new equipment. • Train operators on proper usage and maintenance of machines. • Coordinate with suppliers and service contractors when required. • Maintain inventory of spare parts and propose procurement needs. ⸻ Required Qualifications & Experience • Minimum 3 years of experience as Laundry Technician in commercial/industrial laundry. • Professional experience with: • Alliance Laundry Systems (UniMac, Speed Queen, Huebsch, etc.) • Dry cleaning machine servicing and solvent systems • Rotondi pressing/finishing machines (steam systems, form finishers) • Strong understanding of: • PLC controls, electrical panels, and hydraulic systems • Boilers, steam lines, pumps, and air compressors • Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals. • Good communication and teamwork skills. • Willingness to travel and work during breakdown emergencies. ⸻ Preferred Skills • Certification in industrial equipment maintenance or mechanical/electrical field. • Experience in laundries serving hospitality, hospitals, or camps. • Knowledge in safety compliance standards.
